Summary of Interview 090735B with Zorigt


The second part of his interview was given while we went to the center of Hishig-Öndör sum. He extensively talked about the collective factories, the deer enterprise, the hospital, and the building of the cultural center that were built during the socialist period and that had operated effectively. He also mentioned them in his first interview.


One fact of interest is that the cultural center building was built at certain time by the Chinese and it was built without using any nails. If one fastener dislocates, the building might shatter. Such building has such a delicate architecture and they don’t know where the fastener is. The builders have kept the secret, he said.


From the story he has told we can see a detailed explanation of the history of the local sum, its development, the achievements of the state and budget organizations and the future activities.
