He was born in 1961 in the maternity ward of Arhangai aimag. There are five children in the family.
His father was a hard-working man and Erdenebat took after him, so he entered a construction vocational school to acquire a certain vocation. Then in 1977-1979 he went to the Soviet Union to study there for two years and learned to be a brick-layer. At that time the society treated well only those who worked well. He has understood very well that a hard-working person who mobilizes all his strength won’t be despised in any society. He has followed his father since his childhood, and as the saying goes ‘A Mongolian is on the horse stirrups’, he learned to drive a car in the fifth grade. In the military he worked as a driver for three years. With the understanding that a man should go wherever he is necessary for the nation he has served the military for three years. The military training was hard, but he sensed that a human being gets over hardships.
