Summary of Interview 090728A with Naranhüü

Naranhüü taught at the third secondary school. The third school was established by the former teacher of Commander Sühbaatar, Jamiyangün together with two workers and 40 schoolchildren. We can find out from his work and life history that the workers of the socialist period had very strict and brutal discipline. It was an interesting story he had told in detail about the ‘cultured fellowship’, and ‘the owners of five excellent marks’ in the schools. The leading youth of that time formed a ‘socialist labor brigade’ and they were the vanguards in work and life setting an example for the others. They also used to form a ‘socialist fellowship of the intelligentsia’. The young people with special deeds of heroism in the field of work and labor were invited to the New Year's tree festivity for the leading youth of the capital and were cheered. It was considered an honor. And even the secondary school schoolchildren who had studied with excellent marks participated in the New Year party organized in Ih Tenger valley. I, the one who is writing this, still remember participating with my namesake big Buyandelger in the New Year party and the gifts we were given. I think it was an album of a collection of Mongolian design with thin cover printed in the Soviet Union. Certainly, there were also gifts with candies, cookies and apples. On top of that the party and the state leader Yu. Tsedenbal, and many officials like the members of the political bureau, the dargas of the Council of Ministers, the ministries and committee dargas together with their spouses visited the New Year festivities.

Naranhüü teacher with her own point of view esteemed more the practical method of estimating rather than mathematical theory. You can find here that the peculiarity of her teaching method was in correlating math with the life therefore it was simple for the children to solve math problems and she could make them enjoy it.
