Summary of Interview 090762B with Handaa
The brigade where Handaa guai worked became a large factory after it was the public service department of the aimag and all sewing and cutting machines were electric. Wide trousers and coats were fashionable then and Handaa guai sewed them all.
She delivered her first child easily and after 56 days she gave it to the nursery and went to work. Regretfully her oldest son had a high fever because of the vaccination and he passed away at the age of three. There was a high rate of infant mortality then, therefore examinations were conducted on this matter.
When Handaa guai delivered her next child, she sensed all the sufferings of bearing a child for she was diagnosed with a malposition and the child was born prematurely. Her husband was a driver of the sum darga and he was very rarely home . Therefore Handaa guai once scolded him in front of his darga and because of that incident he was rejected when he wanted to join the party saying he had marital problems. Due to that issue, under the pretext of interrupting state work, failing to fulfill the plan, abstaining from party membership, and considering their private life Handaa guai and Sambuu were at edge of being dismissed from work. But they were truly good and skilled workers therefore they remained at work.
Handaa guai was classified as invalid at the time of privatization therefore she wasn’t able to get anything from it. At the end of the interview she sung the song she had sung on stage in her childhood.
