Tümendelger was born on the 26th of October in 1963 in Ulaanbaatar city. His grandparents married young and were Buriads who fled [Siberia] because of the October Revolution. His grandfather was born in the 1870s and was a soldier of the White Russian army in 1905. Buriad people, who escaped from Buriatia settled down in Dadal, Tsenher Mandal, Möngön mor't sums of Hentii aimag and his family settled down in Möngön mor't sum.
Tümendelger’s father mobilized for the army in 1953 and went to Ulaanbaatar and settled down there. He became a driver and worked in a Russian geology unit until 1970. Mostly Russian people worked at the Russian Geology Unit, so Tümendelger’s childhood was among Russian children.
Tümendelger entered into school number 18 in 1971. His family lived in Han-Uul district. After graduating 10th grade he took an examination to study abroad at the Teacher’s University. He could not pass the exam due to illegal issues. At that time, there was a regulation to work for 2 years before having another exam if someone failed to pass the exam to University. So Tümendelger worked at the yarn mill for 2 years and passed the exam and entered to study in Mongolian National University.
After graduating from University he worked at secondary school number 6 as an English teacher. He wasn’t good at English because even in universities English was not taught well at that time. But he was appointed to teach English at the secondary school. He learned English very well while he was teaching it. After 3 years of work as an English teacher at school no 6, his family went to Hungary. They came back after 2 years in Hungary in 1995. It was a tough time in Mongolia after the democratic revolution, so most of teachers left their jobs and started doing small trade. Tümendelger worked as a manager of the Tsetseg hotel. He was managing about 130 people and and worked there until 2001, then they went to Japan in 2001 and lived there.
