D. Lonjidsüren was born in a place called Bichigt hangai in Bugat sum of Arhangai aimag. His ancestors three and four generations ago were lamas. Starting in 1969, he studied at the Agricultural Institute and trained to be a veterinarian. He worked for many years as a supervisor in the agricultural sector.
Lonjidsüren talked about the method and the experience of training the personnel of that time, the work of the collective dargas on improving the livestock breeds, introducing new technology, providing the herders with livestock and increasing their living standard. He also talked about livestock diseases and their elimination. In addition to doing his main work at the sum collective, he was elected as a Deputy to the People’s Great Khural (Ardyn Ih Hural), where he had the historical honour to approve the new Constitution.
He talked about the book he had written where he mentioned about his religious belief, his intellectual genealogy, the memorable things that had been preserved from generation to generation, his own life history, and work, and about worshipping his native land (nutag).
