Summary of Interview 091064A with Baraanasan
Baraanasan was born in 1947 in a place called Del, in Erdenemandal sum, Arhangai. He is an agricultural economist and an accountant. He worked for almost 40 years as a local correspondent for Mongolian Radio and Television. From the seventh grade, he had written poems thus opening the way for him to become a journalist. He doesn’t like socialist society because it doesn’t let people go to the school they want to. When the school appointments came, he was told to go to the agricultural school. He told us the story of becoming a journalist even though he had graduated from agricultural school.
He has a wonderful memory of becoming a runner-up in a song competition of four large organizations dedicated to the youngest audience. When he was still a student of the Agricultural Institute, his book was published and he was awarded the prize named after Doctor Otgonsüren and received 6 thousand tögrögs. His picture was put on a poster and people congratulated him.
He has read many beautiful poems praising his own homeland and the natural world. Working as a journalist, he has visited the vast countryside of Mongolia, all twenty one aimags and every sum, conversing with many famous and wonderful people. He has done great deeds of presenting the agricultural development process and routines to many people. The great family called Mongolian Radio is harmonious.
