Summary of Interview 100504B with Luvsangombo
Luvsangombo was elected as a member of the State Great Hural 1981-1986 and attended State Great Hural sessions seven times. He was also nominated twice for the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party Conference and elected twice as a member of the party committee. The state valued his work and awarded him the Polar star, Medal of Labour Excellence, medals of 40, 50, 70th anniversary of People’s Revolution and others. He said “these were the memorable events in my life”. Luvsangombo also thoroughly explained about the collectives’ activities as he herded collective livestock for 23 years. He also talked about the repressions, which was happened when he was 8-9 years old. In that time there were the temples of Ölgii and Hashaat. All the monks who were in these temples were arrested. One of his uncles, called Dorjbanzad, who was living at the Toli temple was also repressed.
