Summary of Interview 101101B with Sühbaatar
Sühbaatar guai has told us in this interview about the arrest and repression of the lamas who resided in the Ööld’s yellow monastery. Only 7-8 of the arrested lamas returned. When Sühbaatar guai was the head of the believers’ union, it was said that repression issue of 33 people had been resolved in their sum.
Owing to democracy he has acquired certain amount of livestock. He has been a MPRP member and even a darga. But now everything has changed. In 1990 the Social Democratic Party darga Lhagvajav wanted Sühbaatar guai to join his party but he refused and he went away slamming the door. Today he become a good lama, a wrestler and has livestock and a horse.
There’s no operating monastery in his sum nowadays, but he has built one stupa.
